This Wilson antenna is the most powerful center-loaded mobile CB antenna in the world. With 5,000 AM and 20,000 SSB watts power handling capability, a low loss coil design, and 49-inch 17-7PH tapered spring stainless-steel whip, the T5000 is a truckers dream. High-impact thermoplastic protects your antenna in all kinds of weather, and the removable coil offers safe storage and makes it easier to pull into a garage. Includes 5-inch and 10-inch shafts and is weather band ready.

Extensive research, development and engineering efforts showed that a silver plated 3/16" solid copper wire displayed better performance characteristics and lower losses, giving more power gain, than that of chrome plated hollow tubing. Copper is one of the best RF conductors available, silver is even better.

Wilson combined the best of both worlds by choosing 100% pure silver for heavy duty plating of the large solid copper wire. This combination provides better efficiency and higher performance properties, thereby giving more power gain than any 1/4" or 3/8" chrome plated tubing antenna coil.

The special design of the Trucker 5000 floating coil will not ice up and stop working or break, even in severe winter conditions. This means that using Wilson's design techniques, the 5000 Trucker will not ice up and short out the windings as is possible with the open coil designed antennas. The highly engineered thermoplastic cover protects the coil from the harsh environmental conditions encountered on the open road. A dirty antenna coil can measurably cut the performance characteristics of that antenna, and one that is covered with ice can cut the performance by as much as 50%.

The Trucker 5000 was designed specifically for users who want the best in a high performance antenna with the ability to withstand some serious power. The Wilson 5000 Trucker handles 5000 watts AM, 20,000 watts SSB (ICAS rating).

Defective Products: 

Returns of defective products will receive replacement product in accordance to Manufacturer policy.

Non-Defective Products:

Returns of non-defective products must be in new resalable condition.
     - Stainless Steel Items: Stainless steel items must NOT have their protective laser film removed to qualify for a refund under Berube's return policy.

Refund:

• Returns up to 30 days from the date of purchase will be eligible for a 100% refund or store credit.
• Returns 31 - 90 days from the date of purchase will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
• Returns over 90 days will be at the discretion of Berube’s Truck Accessories and be subject to a  25% or more restocking fee.
• Shipping will not be refunded for returned products (unless shipped defective or incorrectly by fault of Berube’s Truck Accessories).
• Receipt is required for refund.
• Refunds will be in same payment form as purchase (i.e. refunded to credit/debit card used for purchase, if the original card is not available a store credit will be issued, cash for cash, if the purchase was made by check a refund will be issued after 14 days from the date of purchase). Returns without a receipt will only receive a store credit and may be subject to a restocking fee. Return policy is subject to change.

Special Orders:

Cancellation of special orders may be subject to loss of deposit. Returns of special orders are not accepted unless product is defective.
