  • 2020 edition of Hazardous Materials Compliance Pocketbook includes changes from the HM-215 O final rule
  • The changes in HM-215 O affect the HMR in Parts 171, 172, 173, 174, 175, 176, 178, and 180. Some of the major changes include:
    • Updating references to international regulations, including the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Technical Instructions, the International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) Code, the United Nations (UN) Model Regulations, the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals, the Canadian Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations, and various International Organization for Standardization (ISO) standards
    • Making numerous changes to the §172.101 Hazardous Materials Table. Includes adding, revising, or removing shipping names, hazard classes, packing groups, special provisions, packaging authorizations, bulk packaging requirements, and passenger and cargo aircraft maximum quantity limits
    • Adding a classification system for articles containing hazardous materials that do not already have a proper shipping name
    • Requiring lithium battery manufacturers to test lithium batteries and make the lithium battery test summary available to subsequent distributors
    • Requiring luggage (smart bags/luggage) equipped with a lithium battery or batteries to be carried in the cabin of the aircraft unless the battery or batteries are removed
    • Adding segregation requirements for lithium batteries when transported on aircraft with other hazardous materials
    • Including a non-testing alternative for classifying corrosive mixtures using existing data on its chemical properties
    • Extending sunset dates for provisions concerning the transportation of polymerizing substances from January 2, 2019, to January 2, 2023

Defective Products:
Returns of defective products will receive replacement product in accordance to Manufacturer policy.

Non-Defective Products:
Returns of non-defective products must be in new resalable condition.

Refund:

  • Returns up to 30 days from the date of purchase will be eligible for a 100% refund or store credit.
  • Returns 31 - 90 days from the date of purchase will be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  • Returns over 90 days will be at the discretion of Berube’s Truck Accessories and be subject to a  25% or more restocking fee.
  • Shipping will not be refunded for returned products (unless shipped defective or incorrectly by fault of Berube’s Truck Accessories).
  • Receipt is required for refund.
  • Refunds will be in same payment form as purchase (i.e. refunded to credit/debit card used for purchase, if the original card is not available a store credit will be issued, cash for cash, if the purchase was made by check a refund will be issued after 14 days from the date of purchase). Returns without a receipt will only receive a store credit and may be subject to a restocking fee. Return policy is subject to change.

Cancelation of special orders may be subject to loss of deposit. Returns of special orders are not accepted unless product is defective.
